A Family that Grows Together
Let the message about the Messiah dwell richly among you, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude in your hearts to God.
Supporting Our Sisterhood - is the theme for Women's Ministry at Conway's First. Our goal is to be more than just ladies who go to church together, we want to be women who grow together both in our friendships and in our faith.
Ladies Who Lunch - second Wednesday of every month at 11:30 am. No program, just come and eat and visit. We go to a different restaurant every month. Check the calendar for this month's location!
"Fall Back in Time" - You are invited to a fun evening called "Fall Back in Time". It will be held on Monday, September 10th at 6 pm at Cafe 501 (650 United Drive). You can bring an item from your past - a letter, picture, program from a play, piece of jewelry - something that has a story and is significant to you. You will have the opportunity to share your item and it's story (kind of like show and tell). It's a great way to learn more about one another, but DON'T WORRY if you don't like to speak in front of people! You can just come and eat and enjoy listening to all the stories.
Ladies Bible Study - Fall Bible Study begins Wednesday, October 3rd at 6:30 pm and runs through November 14th. (We will not meet October 31st.) Childcare is provided. Contact for more information.
Painting With Beth - "Painting with Beth" will be held Tuesday, November 13th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Activity Center. For those of you who don't know her, Beth Dawson is a very talented artist in our church, and she makes this event SO MUCH FUN! She also makes it simple enough for someone like me (who has zero artistic ability) to end up with a nice piece of art. Look for signup sheets closer to the event.
At CFBC we love families! We know that every family is different and we seek to serve each family by providing encouragement and resources to help in everyday life. From marriage retreats to parenting workshops, finance classes and date nights, we want to come alongside your family as you grow into all that God desires it be. Check out our family resources below for quick tips, videos, and more.
We have an active senior ministry known as Golden Circle. It is comprised of those 55 and older in our congregation and offers them a time of fellowship to connect and grow with one another. We also love to see our seniors using their talents, time, and wisdom to serve in all areas of our ministry as a church.
